Individual premade Hoods can be regenerated by selecting the gear in the launcher and then ‘Restore’. Really, by making all files read-only, you’ll avoid having to regenerate the folder. If your user files in Aspyr > Sims 2 exploded in a fiery ball of fire, simply rename/delete the Sims 2 folder and it will regenerate on next game start. Do NOT make the files in ‘Neighborhoods’ read-only! This is the save file, game needs to be able to edit the files inside to save.
